Warranty Information

Warranty terms can differ between products and manufacturers. DAATS does not apply one universal warranty period to every item.

Product-specific warranties

Where a manufacturer or supplier provides an approved warranty for a product, the product-specific warranty information applies. The period, coverage and process can differ by brand, model and product type.

DAATS and the manufacturer

DAATS supplies products from different manufacturers and is not the manufacturer unless a product is specifically identified that way. A warranty case may therefore require supplier or manufacturer assessment before the available remedy can be confirmed.

If a product develops a problem

Contact DAATS with the order or quotation reference, product name and a clear description of the fault. Keep the product, accessories and any relevant packaging while the issue is being assessed. We will explain the next step for the specific product.

Your statutory product rights

A manufacturer's warranty is different from the quality rights provided by South Africa's Consumer Protection Act. Where the law applies, faulty or unsafe products may qualify for repair, replacement or refund within six months after delivery. See our Returns & Refunds information.

Warranty questions and customer rights

This page does not replace product-specific warranty terms or rights and remedies that apply under South African law. If you need help before ordering, contact DAATS.
